What is anti-wrinkle treatment?
Anti-wrinkle treatment is a non-surgical treatment that helps soften lines created by repeated facial movement. It is most commonly used to treat:
It can also be suitable for concerns such as excessive sweating, teeth grinding, jaw clenching and gummy smiles. Before recommending any treatment, Dr Rakhee will assess your facial movement, discuss your concerns and explain whether anti-wrinkle treatment is the most appropriate option for you.
Anti-wrinkle treatment can be a good option if you’ve started to notice expression lines becoming more prominent and would like a subtle, natural-looking improvement.
Some lines are caused by changes in skin quality or a gradual loss of facial volume rather than muscle movement. In these cases, another treatment may provide a better result. We’ll always explain the options available and help you understand why we’re recommending a particular approach.
By reducing repeated muscle movement before expression lines become deeply set, treatment may help slow their development. There’s no particular age when you should start. Dr Rakhee will assess your facial movement and skin to decide whether preventative treatment would be worthwhile, always with the aim of preserving natural expression.

Anti-wrinkle treatment is very individual. The way your face moves, the lines that bother you and the result you have in mind all matter when planning treatment. At Drayton House, you’ll be treated by Dr Rakhee Raichoora, a qualified dentist and advanced facial aesthetic practitioner. Her clinical background gives her a detailed understanding of facial anatomy, but just as importantly, she wants you to feel comfortable talking openly about what you do and don’t want from treatment.
Rakhee will get to know what you’re hoping to achieve, talk you through what she thinks will work and make sure you’re both on the same page before anything is done. You won’t be pushed towards more treatment than you want, and there’s always room to ask questions or say you’re unsure. The aim is simple: to soften the lines that bother you while keeping the expressions that make you look like you.

Yes. We aim to soften unwanted lines while preserving your natural facial expressions. Treatment is carefully tailored to the individual.
We always start with a consultation, and the following procedure usually takes about 30 minutes. We usually recommend a two-part treatment with 30 days between treatment sessions.
The skin usually recovers within a few hours of the treatment, and the results can be noticed almost immediately after the first treatment. However, the full effects develop gradually over several days. We’ll explain what to expect during your appointment and arrange a review if appropriate.
